Family Visitation & Access Center

Supervised Visitation & Family Access Center

Safe. Structured. Supportive.

A Safe Place for Families to Stay Connected

Sotera’s Family Visitation Center provides a safe, neutral, and child-focused environment where children can maintain important family connections during times of transition.

We understand that these situations can be difficult for everyone involved. Our goal is to create a space that feels calm, respectful, and supportive—while maintaining the structure and safety required by courts and child welfare agencies.

Why Supervised Visitation Matters

For many families in Central South Dakota, access to supervised visitation previously required traveling two or more hours.

Sotera changed that.

By offering services locally, we help:

• Reduce stress and travel burden on children and caregivers
• Increase consistency in parent-child visits
• Support stronger, healthier family connections
• Provide courts and DSS with a reliable, structured option

Consistency and access matter—and they directly impact outcomes for children.
